Is there a REAL House That Engineering Built?

The House That Engineering Built exists only on the internet, but the House is based on a real structure built on the Danish island of Bornholm, designed by architects Kristoffer Tejlgaard & Benny Jepsen. Tejlgaard & Jepsen have designed other geodesic dome-structures as well, including one that resembles a giant carbon-240 molecule. The family of carbon molecules that have the same geometry that geodesic domes are based on are called "fullerenes," after Buckminster Fuller, an architect who used geodesic domes extensively in his work during the 50s and 60s.
